A recent residency focused on supporting children and young people impacted by Covid-19 within a long-term artists residency programme - Combine to Create, produced by Findhorn Bay Arts. Combine to Create was part of the Culture Collective, funded by the Scottish Government through Creative Scotland. The Culture Collective was a network of 26 participatory arts projects, shaped by local communities alongside artists and creative organisations.
Within this long-term residency I focused on delivering creative and embodied learning activities for primary school children. Working with seven and eight year olds, I used movement to develop and support a process of community building, helping them to explore playful and meaningful connections to each other and the natural world.
