Creative and Embodied Learning

Rooted in movement, creativity, and relational awareness, this work supports people of all ages to develop emotional literacy, confidence, empathy, and resilience. Whether in schools, community settings, or professional environments, these embodied practices foster a sense of belonging, unlock creative potential, and promote mental, physical and social wellbeing.

Services

  • Bringing the body into learning – for confidence, collaboration, and wellbeing

Since 2013, I’ve been developing Creative and Embodied Learning programmes with schools, combining movement, mindfulness, storytelling, and play. These approaches support children to express themselves, build empathy, regulate emotions, and connect—within themselves, with each other, and with the natural world.

    This work draws on:

    • Dance Movement Therapy

    • Creative and ecological practices

    • Embodied learning pedagogies

    • Mindfulness and breathing techniques

Delivered through creative dance, yoga, improvisation, storytelling, games, and guided relaxation, sessions build:

    • Emotional literacy

    • Self-esteem and confidence

    • Focus and attention in class

    • Resilience and empathy

    Key features:

    • Suitable for full-term programmes or short blocks
